Dating in the Digital Era

An interesting, perhaps disturbing, trend I've noticed recently is the use of LinkedIn as a way for old flames to reconnect.  While only one has actually contacted me via LinkedIn, I'm noticing with each week that passes, there are more and more guys coming out of the woodwork and stalking my LinkedIn profile.  And let's get one thing straight - 99.9% of these guys are ones that I'd prefer would stay in the past.

A quick search about online trends confirms my theory - apparently, LinkedIn is the new Facebook, to be used for contacting love interests from your past.

Seriously?  Isn't that what Facebook is for?!?  Or Match, or eHarmony, or Zoosk?!??

Time

Has it really been almost a year since my last post??? I feel like so much has happened: job changes, relationship changes, losses, new additions...

But one thing is abundantly clear - I need to start posting more! Once per week. Let's see if I can commit to that.
